Just came back from class. Not much today, so here’s a photo of Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi and Richard Gere. I haven’t seen the original version (Japanese) of “Shall We Dance”, but I’ve watched the Hollywood one on the plane. I thought it was really cute.

For Illustrator class. I chose a jar of chestnut, because I can eat them later!

I’m back from the East, and I’ve been working on last minute assignments.
Here’s one of my favorite blog… It’s a bento blog! Reminds me of my high school days.

OPI released a Japanese collection for spring and summer, and here’s the list.
You’re Such a Kabuki Queen (a Drama Queen), Have a Tempura Tan-Trum (Temper tantrum), Let Them Eat Rice Cake (Let Them Eat Cake), Color of the Zen-tury (Century), Osaka-to-Me Orange (Sock it to me), Don’t Be Koi With Me (Coy with me), Dress To Empress (Dress to impress), Miso Happy With This Color (Me, So happy), 18K Ginza Gold, Holy Pink Pagoda, Suzi Sells Sushi by the Seshore, and Most Honorable Red
They also have a Canadian Collection.
Apparently there was a blackout while I was away, and that’s one of the million reasons why my PC got tweaked. After plug / unplugs & on / off power button about 60 times in 2 hours, finally it started again. Maybe this is the last chance, so I’m backing up files right now.
My Photoshop class is going well. I hope to brush up my skills so I can create an amazing album cover like this.

I had a major computer crash and nervous breakdown today.
I went to an exhibit called Japan After Perry at Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo other day, and it was awesome. Large colorful woodblock prints of city scenes, people including IJIN (non Japanese), I was able to feel vitality of the time. For those of you who are Japanese, you better know who Perry is. For those of you who aren’t Japanese, click here for details. I hated Japanese history classes, because they just made me memorize all the important dates or names of shoguns & emperors. After seeing this exhibit, I’m interested in learning history again.

OC sent me this photo.
Funny, but “Shop” and “Gossip” keys need to be added as well.
I’m not kind of person who can patiently wait in line for more than 25 minutes, but I hope to make it to Aichi Expo in Japan to see this 40 year old mammoth from 18000 years ago.
