Sakura Mochi.
Went to Rose Bowl Flea Market for the first time. There were many many Japanese shopping vintage clothes. I’m not a big fan of vintage or antique stuff, but I ended up spending over 2 hours just walking around.
In the afternoon I went shopping in Little Tokyo. There was a guy demonstrating Japanese sweets called Sakura Mochi, so I got a couple to try.
What exactly are they? They look good.

It’s a traditional Japanese desert for spring. Mochi (sticky rice), sweet red bean paste, and salted cherry leaves…It’s not something you’d eat every day, but it’s really good.
