I always buy things that are not really necessary in my life.
Today I bought Gumby BBQ Lighter ($5.99) at Ralphs.
There was a band practice (loud) in my quiet neighborhood this afternoon. I did recognize a song from KROQ radio and searched it on MySpace, and I did find it!!! I won’t post the name to respect their (and my) privacy, but I should totally send them a note.
Ad stickers on eggs! It’s a Chicken Ramen (Japanese instant sodi-yum noodle) ad campaign. I think it works, as everyone knows the logo, even though the ad is small.

Today was a Super Bowl Sunday, but I’m such a party pooper and I stayed home.
I did catch Prince performance at Super Bowl Halftime Show. Correct me if I’m wrong, but he played “Best Of You”, one of the Foo Fighters songs. I’ve never been a Prince fan, but it was as disappointing as the Queens Of The Stone Age cover by Röyksopp.

I just watched a movie called “The Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift”, and it was way better than I thought. (I’m not interested in cars at all.) I ended up watching all the bonus features to see how they created streets of Tokyo in downtown LA, and Shibuya crossing in Burbank.
By the way Terry Sullivan, one of the artists from Good Charamel Records is playing at Viper Room tomorrow at 7pm. Please stop by if you are in town and over 21.
