They couldn’t recover my Mac.
I had a back up for everything except for my iTunes
(I should have listened to Brian!) and Fonts. Oh, well.

I had this happen once and was able to recover my iTunes. They were in a subfolder. Look real hard before you give up hope.

I also heard that if you call the itunes help people sometimes they will let you “redownload” for free once. You might try that.
